    Join us for an admitted student event on Santa Clara University's beautiful campus! You will have a presentation by an admission counselor, opportunities to connect with current students and get an admitted student campus tour led by our student ambassadors. Guests will be limited to two per student to maximize the amount of admitted students at the event. Additional guests cannot be accommodated.

    SCU Live Fridays


    Here is our schedule: 

    1:00 - 3:00 PM | Optional Drop-in Office Hours
    If you would like to connect with select campus programs we invite you to join us early/prior to the SCU Live program start. If you would like to connect with just a few of the offices, only an hour is necessary but if you want time to meet with them all, we would recommend coming in at 1:00 PM. Please check-in at the Admission Office prior to attending any drop-in office hours. Maps will be provided at check-in. For a full list of office and departments participating, click here

    3:00 - 3:45 PM | Counselor Presentation and Student Program
    Official program starts. This will be an indoor program hosted by the Undergraduate Admission Office along with a student program led by our Student Ambassadors. The counselor presentation will include an overview of Santa Clara in addition to information specific to admitted students. 

    3:45 - 5:00 PM | Admitted Student Campus Tour
    Bring comfortable walking shoes to walk around our beautiful campus. This will be an outdoor campus tour for admitted students geared towards the Bronco experience.

    YOU MUST ENTER THE FULL ADDRESS ON YOUR GPS SYSTEM 
    • If you do not enter in the city (Santa Clara), you may be directed to other areas in the Bay Area.
    • DO NOT USE APPLE MAPS
    • Use Google Maps or Waze instead
    • Typing in “Santa Clara University” may lead you to a different part of campus. 
    • For accurate directions, use the link provided in your reminder text.

    When you arrive at the university, please drive through the main entrance of the university off of El Camino Real. As you drive through the main entrance, please stop at the parking kiosk. If there is an attendant in the kiosk, please let the attendant know you are here for a campus tour with the Undergraduate Admission department. The attendant will give you a parking pass and direct you to park in the small visitor lot on the left directly in front of the Main Parking Structure. You may also park on the third floor of the Main Parking Structure.

    If you arrive when there is no attendant at the kiosk, please park either in the small visitor parking lot or on the third floor of the Main Parking Structure and visit the Campus Safety Office or Undergraduate Admission Office to obtain your parking pass. You can find the Campus Safety/Transportation office by turning left on the walking path out the west side of the parking structure.

    Weekend Parking Information: Please note that parking passes are not required on the weekends. You may park in the small visitor lot on the left directly in front of the Main Parking Structure. You may also park anywhere in the Main Parking Structure.

    Check-in Location: Check-In is located in the Patricia A. and Stephen C. Schott Admission and Enrollment Services Building along the main entrance along Abby Sobrato Mall.


    Tips for a Comfortable Visit 

    Bring water, sunscreen, a hat, and walking shoes. Check the weather for your visit as the tour will be mostly outdoors.

    Luggage

    If you are traveling to campus directly from the airport, we are happy to store luggage for the duration of the program. When you check-in, bring your luggage with you and let them know you would like to store it during SCU Live. We will have you fill out a card with your name and phone number and store it in a backroom.


    By attending, you grant Santa Clara University permission to copyright, use, reuse, and publish any photograph and/or video and/or voice recording taken of you by the University in connection with the event.

    In compliance with ADA/504, please notify the Office of Undergraduate Admission with your accommodation request at least 72 hours in advance at 408-554-4700 or admission@scu.edu.

    Due to unforeseen circumstances surrounding COVID-19, poor air quality (based on an AQI of 150 or higher), or other situations, the Undergraduate Admission Office may cancel your visit and will contact you via phone and email.
